Land Sales expert becomes organization’s 22nd Partner, and 4th based in company’s San Antonio office
San Antonio, TX, January 27, 2022 – Partners Real Estate Company (“Partners”), a top 5 largest privately held and independently owned commercial real estate firm in the state of Texas—and the holding company of commercial real estate service firm NAI Partners, and real estate investment and development platform Partners Capital—today announced that it has promoted Brett Lum to Partner.
Mr. Lum has been with Partners for more than five years, and has consistently ranked among the company’s top performers annually. He joins Carlos Marquez, John Colglazier, and Lindsey Tucker as Partners based in the company’s San Antonio office. Mr. Lum was previously a Vice President.

Mr. Lum was a Top 15 highest-producing broker for Partners in 2021, and was the top producer in the San Antonio office in 2018. Some of his signature deals from the past year include the sale of 88 acres in Guadalupe County, TX; the sale of 87.51 acres on the IH-35 Corridor in New Braunfels; the sale of 167 acres in Cibolo, TX; and the purchase of 77.149 acres of land for Scott Felder Homes in New Braunfels; among may others.
Mr. Lum has more than a decade of experience in the land brokerage business. Having also spent time in the construction and development industry, Mr. Lum brings a unique point of view to his brokerage, providing expert analysis, a deep understanding of the market, and in-the-field expertise to his clients’ projects.
Prior to his time at NAI Partners, Mr. Lum began his brokerage career with Al Lum Properties Inc. in Houston, followed by Post Oak Development of Texas, a local San Antonio developer.
