Investment Sales Division leader becomes organization’s 21st Partner; purview expanded to include management of Partners’ Austin and San Antonio offices
Houston, TX, January 10, 2022 – Partners Real Estate Company (“Partners”), a top 5 largest privately held and independently owned commercial real estate firm in the state of Texas—and the holding company of commercial real estate service firm NAI Partners, and real estate investment and development platform Partners Capital—today announced that it has promoted Scott Lunine—its head of its Investment Sales Division—to Partner and Executive Vice President, Brokerage Services.
Mr. Lunine will continue to spearhead the company’s entire Investment Sales business line, while seeing his responsibilities expand to include oversight of NAI Partners’ Austin and San Antonio offices, as well as the companywide Associate-level sales program.

Partners hired Mr. Lunine in 2020 from Marcus & Millichap in Miami to build out the company’s Texas Investment Sales Division, and during that time the group has amassed a staggering $450 million in inventory. Additionally, NAI Partners’ Investment Sales Division has expanded from less than 5 sales professionals, to nearly 30 under Mr. Lunine’s leadership. Among the group’s accomplishments also include an average of 7 offers per deal, and 97.6% of list price achieved.
While at Marcus & Millichap, Mr. Lunine led the Miami, Florida office’s Investment Sales practice. During his time at Marcus & Millichap, Mr. Lunine grew the South Florida region’s team from 29 to 80 agents, and doubled sales revenue in just three years.
Prior to Marcus & Millichap, Mr. Lunine was the Managing Principal of the Southern California division for Waddell & Reed, a publicly traded, full service financial services company specializing in comprehensive financial planning. Previous to that, he was the Managing Partner of NAI Capital in Los Angeles, specializing in the sale of Regulation D, nontraded REITS, DSTs, investment properties, and involved in the successful closing of over $4 billion of multifamily and retail properties in over 24 states. He also served as Managing Director at Sperry Van Ness, overseeing 15 offices. Earlier roles at Sperry Van Ness also included National Director of Retail; and National Director of Multifamily.
Mr. Lunine is a three-time honoree as one of the South Florida Business Journal’s Power Leaders (2018, 2019, 2020); has been a keynote speaker at numerous investor conferences around the U.S.; and has trained, coached and mentored over 3,000 commercial real estate agents, brokers and investors.
