Atlanta, GA, December 17, 2024 – Partners Real Estate (“Partners”), a full-service commercial real estate firm with an integrated investment and development platform, is pleased to announce that York Murray has joined the company as a Partner and Managing Director of Development in the Southeast. Based in the Atlanta office, York will lead the company’s development efforts across the Southeast working closely with our Occupier and Investor clients, and focusing on expanding the portfolio with innovative, high-impact projects that align with Partners’ strategic vision.

York brings extensive experience in development and construction across diverse asset types, including industrial, multifamily, office, and retail. Most recently, he served as the Regional Director of Development at Jamestown, where he led the Atlanta-based development team overseeing the office and residential portions of Ponce City Market – Phase II. His leadership extended to numerous high-profile developments throughout the Southeast, including Upper West Side, an industrial and mixed-use complex in Atlanta; and Water Street, an urban community that embraces well-being and outdoor living in the heart of Tampa.

Before his tenure at Jamestown, York held leadership roles with Strategic Property Partners, Madison Marquette, and Forest City Realty Trust, managing projects in Boston, Washington, D.C., Tampa, and Atlanta. His proven track record of success includes overseeing more than 2.5 million square feet of commercial real estate development and delivering innovative solutions tailored to each market’s needs.

York holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and History from Denison University and a Master of Business Administration from Boston College’s Carroll School of Management. He is actively involved in the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and the National Association for Industrial and Office Parks (NAIOP), further demonstrating his commitment to industry leadership.
