Leta Wauson joined Partners in 2017 as director of research for the Houston, Austin and San Antonio metros. She brings to the position more than 30 years of experience in the Houston commercial real estate and investment management market, including extensive experience in research and marketing support. Ms. Wauson is responsible for data intelligence that conveys historical and future forecasts in quarterly reports, annual reviews and customized reports covering market trends, significant transactions, and local economic and demographic data. She works closely with the brokers/sales staff to address their research needs and formulate appropriate solutions analyzing market data used to identify and support marketing opportunities for the company and its sales people.
Prior to joining Partners, Ms. Wauson served as research manager at Newmark Grubb Knight Frank from 2015 to 2017. From 2007 to 2015, she was senior research analyst at CBRE, and during 2004 to 2007, she was project manager at CDS Market Research. Throughout 2002 to 2004 she was a marketing representative for Sunrise Senior Living, and as the marketing support manager at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter from 1982 until 2000, Ms. Wauson worked with investment products such as mutual funds, variable annuities and unit investment trusts.
Ms. Wauson is a current member of the CoStar advisory board and the Commercial Real Estate Research Forum. An active member of her community, she has also been part of the Katy Independent School District Partners in Education for more than 15 years.
