
Vince Strake is the Senior Vice President of Office Agency Leasing at Partners, overseeing a 2.58 million square foot portfolio of premier Class-A office properties in Houston, Texas. With over 12 years of experience in commercial real estate, he has managed more than 8 million square feet of Class-A office properties and facilitated over 350+ leasing transactions totaling over 4 million square feet.
Vince has been recognized as a “Heavy Hitter” by the Houston Business Journal (ranking #19 in 2022), received the “Emerging Leader of the Year” award from REDnews in 2021, and was honored as a CoStar “Power Broker” in 2020 for being one of Houston’s top office leasing brokers.
Since joining Partners a year and a half ago, Vince has significantly enhanced the company’s market presence by quickly doubling the Class A office leasing portfolio in Houston, reinforcing his pivotal role in the firm’s growth.
Before joining Partners, Vince was the Director of Houston Agency Leasing at Cushman & Wakefield, where he managed a 3.17 million square foot portfolio of Class-A office properties. Prior to Cushman & Wakefield, he served as Director of Leasing at Colvill Office Properties, which was acquired by Cushman & Wakefield in 2020. During his four years at Colvill, he successfully closed over 145 Class-A office leasing transactions, covering 1.23 million square feet across Houston’s submarkets.
Earlier in his career, Vince was an Associate at Transwestern, responsible for leasing a 3 million square foot portfolio of office/flex assets. He completed over 120 transactions totaling 700,000 square feet across more than 50 buildings during his four-year tenure. Vince was also selected by Transwestern executives to represent their corporate headquarters on the Emerging Leaders Council, which consisted of 20 members nationwide. He was a founding board member of Transwestern’s Young Professionals (TYP) Group on a national level.
Outside of work, Vince enjoys hunting, golfing, barbecuing, and spending time with his wife and their three kids (with a fourth on the way).
