Veteran Office Tenant Rep broker relocates to ATX from Houston

Austin, TX, February 15, 2022 – Alex Taghi, a veteran Office Tenant Representation expert at NAI Partners—the commercial real estate services business of Partners Real Estate Company—recently relocated from Houston to the company’s rapidly growing Austin office, enabling him to focus on serving clients in Austin, in addition to continuing to meet the needs of his Houston customers.

Among Mr. Taghi’s recent significant transactions include over 75,000 SF of leases on behalf of GATE Energy in Houston, Texas; a 10,030 SF HQ lease for Mexico Pacific Limited LNG in Downtown Houston; 27,040 SF flex lease for health and wellness firm Immunotec in Pasadena, TX; a 10,600 SF office lease for global fintech firm Alfa Financial Software in Detroit, MI; and a new office lease for global strategy consulting firm Simon-Kucher & Partners at 3200 Southwest Freeway in Houston, Texas.

Mr. Taghi has completed more than one and a half million sq. ft. of office and industrial leasing transactions and related assignments worth more than $150 million throughout his career. Mr. Taghi represents clients in all facets of their commercial real estate needs, specializing particularly in the acquisition and disposition of office space with a focus on new leases, renewals, expansions, contractions, lease restructures purchase/sale assignments and related requirements.

An active member in his community, Mr. Taghi currently sits on the board for Family Houston, one of the oldest family service organizations in Houston. He has also served on the Executive Committee for Easter Seals of Greater Houston’s Walk With Me fundraiser for three consecutive years, leading to over $2M raised. In 2017, Mr. Taghi participated in the MS150, cycling over 150 miles in two days.

Mr. Taghi is a graduate of Texas State University, where he obtained his BBA in Business Marketing. He is a native of Houston, TX, and enjoys mountain biking, cooking, taking in concerts and spending time with his wife, Mia Karides, in their home in Austin, TX.
